| I painted the horizontal backing strips, riveted them to the bottom cowl, then pop-riveted the receptacles to the strips. | ||||||

I drilled the grommet holes in the top
cowl, then installed the grommets and
studs.

| And there it is! The cowl is secured only by Camlocs. I wa surprised how solid the cowl is -- much more than our Citabria ever was. | ||||||
